A PARIS MOMENT – CREATIVE GRAFFITI AND STREET ART

 

OPEN THE DOORS

 

While walking down a side street in the 5th arrondissement in Paris in May of 2012 I came upon this small graffiti offering hiding behind a black plastic bag filled with litter. It never ceases to amaze me that over 45 years later the music and the legend still lives on. I am certain that forty-five years from now it will continue to be alive because it was, still is and always will be something very special…

THE CHANGELING AT THE FEAST OF FRIENDS FESTIVAL 2011

I have been playing and singing in bands since I was 15 years old and am currently fronting a Doors tribute band called The Changeling. Each year for the past few years we have been invited to play at the Feast Of Friends Doors Festival that takes place for two days in Magdeburg, Germany at the end of July. Although the sound quality is poor on this cell phone fan video of our performance there in 2011, it does give one a good idea of the festival atmosphere. Here we perform the song “Soul Kitchen.” I always enjoy the mind meld with  Mr. Morrison’s spirit for our concerts there and look forward to whenever we get to light those 1960’s fires for the audience again…
