A SHORT DISCOURSE ON CHOCOLATE BARS

Here we have your standard American chocolate bar with almonds. Available in every supermarket, it is lacking in quality, has only 8 or 9 lonely looking almonds and it tastes horrible. Below that is a cheap brand (sold in Aldi) German chocolate bar, larger, much better tasting, overflowing with almonds and probably around the same price.This is an excellent example of the fundamental difference between European and American culture, class and quality. As chocolate connoisseurs everywhere know, a nation rises or falls on the quality of its chocolate almond bars…
