  1. This is it exactly. Paris is not the city that can (or should) be seen from the windows of a taxi or tour bus. I can eat massive amounts of chocolate and cheese when I am there, and still come back a few pounds lighter and feeling much more healthy for all the walking. There’s too much that will be missed if seen any other way than on foot.
