LAST YEAR’S FOUR PART FEATURE
“DOWN ON YASGUR’S FARM”
TO BE RE-BLOGGED
STAY TUNED…
Forty-six years ago tonight was the eve of the Woodstock festival. I had already been there for almost a week, working and was looking forward to the music that was scheduled to start on Friday afternoon. Last year to mark the forty-fifth anniversary of the festival, I did four posts that told the story of some of the adventures I had there. This year I intend to re-blog those original posts over the next four days, Saturday through Tuesday, for those of you who didn’t catch them the first time around. The photo below was taken as I was headed to the festival and stopped off in Alexandria, Virginia for a short visit with one of the girlfriends I had at the time, Mickie. Because it’s in such a bad state of preservation, this photo wasn’t included in last year’s posts, but I figured it was a good place to start this time around…
