Yesterday I posted a photo from a vacation that I enjoyed a few years ago with a friend  taken during a stopover in the town of Beaune, known as the wine capital of Bourgogne (Burgundy) in the Côte d’Or department in eastern France. Today I thought that I’d share another view of the town, and another interesting window. Here it seems that the bartender of Le Parisien is looking happily out of one of the attic windows. On the French website of tripadvisor Le Parisien didn’t fare too well, with the majority of French visitors giving it a bad rating. I didn’t eat there myself so I can’t be the judge or jury, I just liked their window. But on the whole Beaune proved to be a friendly and picturesque place to enjoy some fine wine and good food, which, naturally, is what France is really all about…
