A life seen through rose coloured glasses…France’s beloved Chanteuse, La Môme Piaf (The Little Sparrow), Edith Piaf was born on December 19th 1915 and died on October 10th 1963, a life lived to its fullest, from the bottom to the top…

000 Piaf's GravePhoto taken in the Cimetiere du Perè-Lachaise in Paris in May 2014. The words on the plaque at the foot of her grave,  “Dieu réunit ceux qui s’aiment,” are taken from the song  l’hymne a l’amour (Hymn To Love), written by M.Monnot, E.Piaf and C.Arvesand and can be translated as “God brings together those who love.”
